Taman Bunga Nusantara Puncak Indonesia

Taman Bunga Nusantara or National Flowers Park is a thematic garden located at Luwuk Sukaresmi Village, Cipanas-Cianjur. It perched high on the famous Puncak area, covered a total area of 35 acres. It was founded on September 10, 1995.  This park is a beautiful place to get away from Jakarta's congestion!

This park is the Indonesia's first flower park that have various collections of plants and flowers, arranged in a harmonious and beautiful shapes. It also has many collections of beautiful and fresh flowers, ranging from plants to flowers from Indonesia as well as from all over the world. It also has a special cultivation house of orchids. There are estimated 2,000 species of orchids are being cultivated in this place.

It consists of many unique featured gardens such as Water Garden, Rose Garden, French Garden, Bali Garden, Mediterranean garden, Palm Garden, Japanese Garden and the much visited Secret Garden or Labyrinth.  However, during rainy seasons, the labyrinth tracks can be quite tricky for you as it would be very muddy.

The national park is a perfect place to go with your family, children would love it with all the beautiful flowers blooming and so colorful.  The fresh mountain air is something that should not be missed, so take a chance to walk around the park to enjoy the day.

Aside from being a tourist attraction, the park is also a site for experimental hybrid of many different types of flowers and plants from subtropical to cold temperature countries in Europe, America and Australia.

 Bali Garden

The garden is surrounded by greenhouses, beautiful lake filled with entrancing groups of goose, Rafflesia mini-theater, gazebo,  the picnic park, amphitheater (stage floating) train, wira-wiri car, tower view, polyclinics and Mountain Views's Galleria. You will have million memories of beautiful flowers in here that can not be found elsewhere.  Do come early so you can have ample time to wander around the gardens as the park closed by 17.00.

Tips:

• The access was easy, but traffic from-to Cipanas/Cianjur/Puncak in weekend was heavy. There was open/close route at certain hour between Puncak-Ciawi, so consider this in planning the trip there
• Bring your picnic basket and have lunch with your family or friends for new experience.
• Ride a wara-wiri cart for sightseeing, started from Peacock Garden, then to French Garden, water lily garden, Rose Garden, American Gardens, Mediterranean garden, Bali Garden, Labyrinth Garden and many more. The best choice if you don't have all day or too tired to walk. 
• Bring your hat or umbrellas. Camera is a must, because it's a very beautiful place. Don't forget to bring water; you will easily get dehydrated there.
• Towards to this park, you could see villages with houses, vegetable farms, paddy fields and flower nurseries

Getting Here
It will take about 2 to 3 hours from Jakarta. Through the Puncak road, up past the Puncak Pass, and turn left to the Kota Bunga housing complex.  From this junction, the distance is only 9 km left and there's a direction signs along the way.
