Though the rating on trip advisor is average, Madame Tussauds is recommended on your tour list for Bangkok, especially to all first time visitors. It is a wax museum that replicated many celebrities  as well as politicians, scientists and many famous & important persons in the world. The figures look so realistic, you can see the body hair as well.  An affordable way of looking at art through a different perspective. It’s unbelievable!

Madam Tussauds Bangkok is the first  wax museum in Southeast Asia and it's a nice place for you to take photos with your idol, such as  Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Einstein, Soekarno for Indonesian, Amitabh Bachchan & Mahatama Gandhi for indian.

There is also a figure of Tigerwood's checking the golf ball, Michael Jackson with his wonderful pose, Obama with his Wife and Elizabeth queen looking great as she's standing in front of you. However this place is a little small and it doesn't take much time to cover. You can combine shopping at Siam center and take a ticket to Siam ocean world.

President Barrack Obama

Some time, there is a crowd during your visit, although you came early. So, be advised that you can proceed to another zone first to avoid the crowd. You can come back at any time to the earlier zones and snap photos with your idols or celebrities. Fewer crowds mean less photo bombers.

Queen Elizabeth

There was in-house photographer for President Barrack Obama and Wolverine figures and it was free of charge. You can choose either to purchase or not to purchase the photo at the end of visit. Although there was a in-house photographer, you are allowed to use our own camera.

Jacky Chen in action

They have interactive games inside as well so that you dont feel like you're just walking through a museum. It also has fun costumes where you can put on to allow you to play a role with the "celebrities" you're taking pictures with!

Madam Tussauds is reachable by using skytrain, drop off at the Siam BTS station. There are 2 ticket pricing, one for residents of Thailand - cheaper and the other one at a higher price for foreigner. You can enjoy a 40% discount when you purchased early bird ticket (enter the attraction before 12.00 PM but you can stay as long as you want in there) through online. Booking the ticket on-line saves a lot of money and time, however, you will not be entitled to a replica of a wax hand. . The online booking has to be made at least 24 hours prior to the visit.
