Dusun Bambu Family Leisure Park is sited on a 15 hectares area in the foothill of Burangrang Mountain area, it has a great view, great architecture, you can see the mountain, playing and just walking or just sit, relax and enjoying the place.
This area used to be a farming land and was revitalized into a bamboo conservatory. This park is owned by group of Kampung Daun Cultural Gallery & Café. This park is still continue to serve better since its opening on January 2014 up to now. The locals talked a lot about Dusun Bambu and it is also on top list of places to visit for a holiday to Bandung area.
This park can be accessed from Cihanjuang - Cimahi and Kolonel Masturi street - Lembang, and it took at least 60 minutes from Bandung city depend on the traffic also narrow road condition.
Dusun Bambu also has camping ground for those who loves the mountain view at night adorned with stars. The visitors can also enjoy jogging or cycling around the park, Dusun Bambu provides facilities with lines that lined up to the Sukawana tea plantation, you can immediately feel the natural elegance of Burangrang foothills.
The overall dinning concept is nice, dining with scenic view. This place has three different dining concepts: buffet, dining by the artificial lake and food court type. Dining by the lake is the most costly of all, although it's not that pricey, because of minimum 6 persons requirement.
Tips:
This place was actually good to have your family vacations or just hangin out with your friends, but you really need to estimate time to get here in a first place
There is a food court “the Pasar Katulistiwa” with many Indonesian traditional menus and also a market place which sale fresh fruits, vegetables, snacks, drinks and souvenirs. Here, you should use voucher or coupon for transactions. You have to exchange your actual cash with it. However, you should be smart to shop since you cannot refund this voucher/coupon.
Plan to get here at morning hour so you can enjoy the walk, the view and the breeze otherwise you can have crowded at you lunch time.
The Purbasari is restaurant with gazebo concept located at the edge of lake. They serve only packet meal for at least 6 pax and the price for 1 pax is Rp. 125.000. You can have nice lunch with your family when the park is overcrowded especially at weekend
At the entrance gate, you can ride the shuttle bus to main site, but you can enjoy walking through padi fields to those.
If possible, make plans to come on weekdays since the park is very crowded during weekends and holidays
